Epik Fails – Year 5?

What Year Is It?! - Robin Williams (Jumanji)

Epik Fails of History returns!

History of the World Abridged

Yes that’s right, for those of you who are still actually reading my ramblings about historical failures, I am returning from a long absence to continue fighting the good fight – er, blogging the good blog?

For the two of you out there who are wondering why I haven’t posted since November, I actually have a very good reason: I’ve been co-writing a book series! (more details on that to come, stay tuned!) I wanted to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their support over the years, if it wasn’t for you, I would’ve stopped blogging years ago – and if I had given up, I wouldn’t have had this amazing opportunity, so seriously, thank you.

I especially want to give a shout out to my Patreon supporters (Daniel Crews, Ashley Sgromo, Justin Ache and Ben Thompson) – your financial support has allowed me to afford to keep the site going when I was going through some tough times. I also want to acknowledge David Kowalski, Chris Carroll, James Lester, Neil Sindicich, and Damian Fox. – I never would’ve gotten here without you.

Erik Slader - self portrait in spaceAs for the blog, got some new articles in the works in the coming months: Presidential Pros and Cons – Part 4, The Wrath of Genghis Khan, Top 5 Viking Sagas, The Legend of the 47 Ronin, The Fall of Rome, Tulip Mania, The Opium Wars, The Peloponnesian Wars, the Crimean War,  Operation: Valkyrie, Spartacus, Richard the Third, Prohibition, the Great Depression, the California Gold Rush, Shootout at the Ok Coral, Alexander the Great – Part 2 and The Golden Age of Piracy – Part 3! – plus a lot of other crazy stuff you might not have heard of before.
