Episode 14: Tales of Fails

In this all-new anthology episode, we have 4 bizarre tales of fails brought to you by 4 very special guests! Meghan Kaminski tells us about ‘Medieval cats and the Black Plague’, Jim Wood talks about the Titanic and ‘Engineering for Failure’, Dave Austin explains the ‘Year of the Three Popes’, and Kirsten Veronica Williams recalls ‘Strange Tales from Jersey’!

Meg is a consummate Tolkien nerd, and loves myths and legends and the history of Medieval Europe. As an animal lover, her life is built around the care of a menagerie of creatures, but she has a special fondness for cats.

Jim is an ordained Druid priest grafted onto a right-brained engineer. He overseas construction of water and sewer plants, teaches shamanic journeying and facilitates several drumming circles in North Florida and New York’s Hudson Valley.

50-year-old armchair historian, Dave, has lived in 6 countries, and has been to all 50 U.S. states. He is fond of a quote from Mark Twain, “History doesn’t repeat itself, but it often rhymes.”

Kirsten is a reluctant transplant from New Jersey, learning to love Florida and little lizards with her daughter and silly dog. She’s living her life based on the Twelfth Doctor’s advice to, “Always try to be nice, but never fail to be kind.”
