The Future of “Epik Fails of History”!

Devon the Pirate

A couple major announcements ahead about the future of “Epik Fails of History”!

Extra Extra (newspaper)

First of all, I apologize for going all radio silence and not posting recently, but I do have a good reason… or eight.

  1. I’ve been busy both with work and college (per usual).
  2. Since I graduate this December, I’ve been beefing up my resume and looking for job opportunities outside of the wonderful world of retail. (If you want to give me a job, check out my portfolio @ Erik-Slader.squarespace.com)
  3. For the past year, I’ve been writing content for SuperheroBeach.com – If you’re a comic book fan, head on over there for articles, reviews, and interviews. #ShamelessPlug
  4. I’m also working on revamping this site and finally transferring EpikFails.com to my own server! Which I was hoping to have done last month, but it got temporarily delayed because…
  5. I’m collaborating on developing an “Epik Fails of History” web series! (details to follow)

The new and improved website!

The new Epik Fails of History

Under Construction

There’s still a lot of work left in getting the new site transferred over and up and running, but once it’s complete, the new blog will:

  • Be responsive and mobile friendly.
  • Have a better overall design with a fully customized theme.
  • Still include a backlog of all previous articles.
  • Have Better font?
  • Include nifty sliders and widgets!
  • Have a brand new header design.
  • Be a modern website.

Until it’s done, you can checkout the new homepage @ http://epikfails.justinache.com/

The Web Series!?

Devon Seymour as Cap'n McGee

Yeah, I know, this kind of came out of nowhere. I’ve been considering doing one for some time and the opportunity came about recently in my Network broadcasting class. I’m collaborating with two very talented individuals: Devon Seymour and Mel Buck! It’s a super low-budget mini-series, with a four episode run, sort of like a prototype for an ongoing series. The pilot episode (about pirates) will be debuting next week!
