Murphy’s Law and Dis-Order

Life is Chaos.

I don’t usually talk about myself on here, but wow, what a crazy series of unfortunate events: Car trouble (both vehicles), medical issues (carpal tunnel, B-12 deficiency, Gluten intolerance, oral surgery, etc), college financial aid problems (lost two grants because I couldn’t afford enough out of pocket), far too many funerals (multiple sets of grandparents), and near financial catastrophe!

(Not to mention all the depressing events going on in world news today… Russia, Syria, Egypt, Iran, North Korea, etc, but that’s a whole ‘nother story.)

Now don’t get me wrong, things could always be worse, much worse even. I am in fact very thankful for what I do have, and have a very positive attitude about the future, but (as I’m sure some of you can relate) some days I do feel like Loki’s personally out to mess up my day.

All this reminds me of Murphy’s Law…

Murphy’s Law states:

• If anything can go wrong – it will.
• If anything just cannot go wrong, it will anyway.
• If there is a possibility of several things going wrong, the one that will cause the most damage will be the first to go wrong, at the most inopportune time.

As cliched as it sounds there is always light at the end of the tunnel, and it’s always darkest before the dawn, so maybe I’m about to… I don’t know, win the lottery? (still crossing fingers)
